Here are some of the disadvantages you will deal with when owning a Travel Trailer.
Hard to maneuver. Any Travel Trailer owner will tell you that a bumper pull RV is a pain to maneuver.
Fifth Wheels rotate and turn on a dime. Travel Trailers do not.
If you own a long Travel Trailer, you can expect a learning curve when it comes to parking.
Set up and breakdown Travel Trailers take the time to level, connect to water, sewer, put on slides, etc.
They are not a "Stop and Pop" option
Can't triple tow
Unless you are using a Toy Hauler, you will struggle to take your toys along with you.
Most states forbid the triple tow. (Connecting an additional vehicle or trailer to the back of your travel trailer.)
Cheap construction While Travel Trailers can be inexpensive they often feature inferior interior and exterior construction.
Always hire a licensed RV Inspector and be sure you are getting the quality unit you are expecting before you complete the purchase.
It is also important to buy an extended warranty on any RV you decide to buy.
